This means that details of transactions, loans, or other financial services cannot be disclosed without the customer’s consent or a legal mandate. The purpose is to protect privacy and prevent misuse of confidential information.

Ensuring security

We work continuously to enhance security, adapted to the needs of the companies we support and other stakeholders. A particular focus is placed on ensuring a robust and reliable infrastructure. This includes data security, data quality, and physical safety – all tied to the services and products we deliver.

The companies we support are an important part of the security work. If the customers we assist notice anything that can be improved or appears unusual, we encourage you to contact us. Feedback helps strengthen security for all parties.

Protecting customer information in the facilitation of loans is one of our top priorities. We strive to ensure that no unauthorized party gains access to sensitive information. Still, security is a shared responsibility: both we as the loan facilitator and the companies we support must handle information with care.

The Financial Supervisory Authority

Lind Finans AS is authorized by the Financial Supervisory Authority of Norway to operate as a loan intermediary towards corporates. We are registered as a loan brokerage firm, and our activities are supervised by the Financial Supervisory Authority. We conduct our business honestly, fairly, and professionally, always in the best interests of our clients.

As a loan intermediary, we are subject to strict confidentiality in accordance with applicable law. This means that we do not share information about our clients with unauthorized parties—verbally or in writing—without consent. The duty of confidentiality applies to all information we receive in connection with loan brokerage. When necessary, we can sign a confidentiality agreement (NDA) upon receiving client contracts or other legal documents. Our partners are bound by banking secrecy to ensure the protection of client relationships.

The duty of confidentiality does not prevent us, as a loan intermediary, from sharing information with our partners when necessary to obtain loan offers in line with the interests of the businesses we assist. The handling of personal data is carried out in accordance with applicable data protection legislation. Please refer to our privacy policy for further information.

Confidentiality

In order to provide our services and obtain loan offers, we depend on having a thorough understanding of our clients. Client knowledge includes, among other things, information regarding the intended use of our services and various financing needs.

The information we collect is used solely to evaluate relevant options from our partners. We only share necessary and relevant information with our partners in connection with loan offers—and never beyond what is required to fulfill our role as a loan intermediary.

All client information is handled with strict confidentiality and safeguarded under banking secrecy by our banking partners.

Why we ask questions

Anti-money laundering measures

We conduct ongoing risk assessments of both our partners and the companies we assist to ensure that our operations do not contribute to money laundering or the financing of terrorism.

It is prohibited to establish business relationships with individuals or organizations listed on the EU sanctions lists. Accordingly, we screen both clients and partners against official registers of individuals and entities considered by authorities to be involved in criminal or terrorist-related activities.

These screenings are an important part of our responsibility to ensure compliance with applicable regulations and to prevent our business from being unintentionally used for illegal activities.

Lind Finans AS is not liable for loan terms, interest rates, fees, or any other aspects of loan agreements concluded between the companies we support and the lender. We disclaim any liability for indirect losses, including loss of profits.

Limitation of Liability

As a loan intermediary, we emphasize treating our clients and partners fairly and professionally. If you believe that we have not fulfilled our obligations, you may submit a complaint.

Complaints can be submitted in writing via email or letter. The complaint should include your name, contact information, and a description of the matter to which the complaint relates. We will acknowledge receipt within 2 business days and aim to resolve the complaint within 14 business days. Complaints may be submitted via email to mail@lindfinans.no
